Formerly Angeline Brown of North Dakota, Angie Dickinson is one of the most loved and storied actresses of Hollywood. Fondly remebered as Pepper Anderson, star of Police woman, and appearing in iconic films Rio Bravo, Oceans Eleven (the original and the remake), Point Blank, and Big Bad Mama. Romantically linked to Frank Sinatra, David Janssen and John F. Kennedy, she was married to Gene Dickinson and later Bert Bacharach, and in 2002, Angie placed third behind Diana Rigg and Geoge Clooney as the sexiest TV star of all time.
But why is she a Queen ‘O Scream? Brian De Palma’s 1980 film, Dressed To Kill is the sole, but very memorable, reason. Angie won a Saturn award for this controversial-in-its-day picture, and it was well deserved.
